A recurring annual campus immersion for UNI students

A recurring one-week ASU immersion that combines campus life, seminars, field visits, and a final team project.

Each edition combines seminars on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability with community activities, Arizona visits, and a final presentation before a jury of experts.

How do students benefit?

Participation certificate

Each cohort completes the experience with a certificate that marks participation in the Summer Experience program.

Life on an American campus

Students experience the daily rhythm, learning spaces, and student culture of Arizona State University firsthand.

Friendships across cultures

The format creates space for UNI students to build friendships with peers from different countries and backgrounds.

Planned support during the stay

The published package included health insurance, hotel accommodation near campus, and transport for scheduled off-campus events.

What happens during the week

Summer Experience seminar session

Seminars on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability

The academic part of the week introduces students to future-focused themes connected to innovative thinking, entrepreneurship, and sustainable solutions.

Summer Experience outdoor visit

Field visits, attractions, and community activities

Participants move beyond the classroom with cultural activities and visits to natural and historical attractions across Arizona.

Summer Experience group project session

Small-group teamwork and a final jury presentation

Students work in small groups throughout the experience and present a final project before a jury of experts on the closing day.
