Admissions
Entry requirements
The UUC has two regular admission terms; at the end of July and an additional deadline that ends in September 15th of each academic year. Every student wanting to join our Institute has to fulfil the admission criteria, which according to the Statute of the Institute are:
Successful completion of the secondary education;
Having passed the national examination minimum 50/100%;
Having passed the oral interview with an assigned representative of the Department the student has applied for;
Students with an average GPA over 3.0 during their high school studies are entitled to automatic entry, while anyone below this threshold has to attend a 2 week intensive training on academic writing and calculus. The training programme has proven to be useful for a number of students. The Dean Office of each Department reviews the progress of the students whose progress proved unsatisfactory and recommends that the same should take additional hours of academic writing, statistics, calculus and English offered by Academic and Professional Development Division.
